Paskha (2017)

Easter (Paskha in Russian) is the most important Holiday in Christian Orthodox religion, even more than Christmas. This work depicts the different aspects of the Saturday night Easter celebration at the Russian Orthodox Church in Florence (Italy), where people from different nationalities (Russian, Ukrainian, Moldavian, Belorussian, Serb, Ethiopian) get together not just for the religious holiday, but first and foremost to meet friends and family, eat, drink and celebrate… Every believer is proud of being part of a community and taking part on the most important event of the year.
